2. I sent Halloween postcards out today, one to Chuck, one to Keith. I hope they like them. I'm considering sending out Christmas cards by way of postcards this year. It's cheaper, and for a girl with no money, that's a good thing! I like finding and creating postcards on Zazzle.com
3. My actual birthday is next week, October 27, Tuesday. I was born on a Tuesday so maybe it will be a lucky year for me. I need one of those!
4. I had dialysis yesterday, and really didn't feel like going again today. I was trying to find a good excuse yo call in with. One of the techs there called me and asked if I'd be coming in today because yesterday I didn't have much fluid on me, which I guess is an OK reason I could go without dialysis today. I sounded as lively and healthy as I could muster and said "No, actually I won't be there today!" My usual dialysis schedule is Tuesday - Thursday -Saturday, but to miss this Saturday (because of my birthday shindig), I changed the day to Friday, today. To miss next Tuesday, my birthday, I changed the day to Monday. So the next day I will be there is Monday, and I'll follow that up with Thursday and Saturday next week.
5. For dinner tonight I'll probably have a Hungry Howies pizza delivered, half butter cheese crust with mushrooms, the other half poppy seed crust with pineapple. I love how they will do that to the crusts, and I love that they now have junior size pizzas for $3! When it's delivered they plug on another $3 for service charge. It's well worth it, a junior size pizza to me is perfect, when it's larger I have a tendency to just waste the last two slices, put them into the fridge with expectations to devour them, which never really happens. Nuking them makes them hard!
6. I wish I could drive to see one of Anne's diving meets at her school. I miss driving, I haven't driven at all since July 28, the day I broke my wrist. I'll be seeing my doc next Wednesday, the 28th, so hopefully I'll have his approval. I miss going places, I wish I could get to a cider mill, drive through Heins Park to see the beautiful change of colors.
7. I'm currently attending occupational therapy to get my hand strength back. After succeed with that part, I'll be attending physical therapy to improve my leg strength and hopefully walk without a walker again someday. I've needed that thing for about two years now. My new insurance will cover it, yay.
